FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How can reflexology help me?
Reflexology can help promote deep relaxation and improve overall wellbeing. The specific way that you respond to a treatment will be individual to you. If you would like to discuss this prior to booking a treatment, please feel free to give me a call.
Can a reflexologist diagnose my health problems?
Reflexologists are not qualified to diagnose medical conditions. Skilled reflexologists may highlight areas in your body which are out of balance, however if you have any health concerns you should visit your GP.
What does reflexology feel like?
For most people, reflexology will feel comfortable and relaxing. You may feel tenderness in certain areas however this type of sensation often reduces during the session. The treatment should not feel painful.
What should I wear?
It is advisable to wear comfortable clothing for your reflexology session. If you are having hand reflexology, I may also work around your wrist and lower arm. If you are having foot reflexology, I may also work around your ankles and the lower part of your leg. Please bear this in mind and wear clothing which is loose enough to push up out of the way.
How often should I have reflexology sessions
and how many will I need?
This varies depending on your individual needs and health goals. I will discuss this with you during your first session and adjust, if necessary, as we see how you respond to the treatments.
Is reflexology safe during pregnancy?
As a qualified practitioner, I can offer reflexology safely throughout all stages of pregnancy. Please inform me if you are pregnant so that I can adjust the treatment accordingly.
Can reflexology be combined with other treatments or therapies?
Reflexology works well alongside both clinical and complementary treatments / therapies.
What payment methods do you accept?
